James Albert. Artist. The son of a Master Carpenter, James discovered his passion for carpentry at a young age. Following a successful career restoring century homes and building custom cottages, James transitioned into creative woodworking. Inspired by his love for the outdoors, James is dedicated to sustainable woodworking and is involved with the products from harvest to finish. Alché Design Co.'s functional art and home accessories – from coffee and harvest tables to wine racks and serving boards – are handcrafted in Canada using reclaimed wood from local barns and homesteads and FSC-certified lumber.
