I would most certainly give (Mead Mechanical) a five star rating- as it is the highest rating possible on this survey . On the evening of Sat Feb 24th 2024 -my furnace stopped working and house temperature was down to 61 degrees-
Monday morning- the owner sent out a mechanic that figured out the problem quickly and installed a hot surge igniter- which was an easy diagnosis and cheap part- whole thing cost me just over $200.00 including service cost for the visit.

(Mead mechanical )saved me time and trouble and lots of money as I had (Superior plumbing and heating) come over first- (on the 24th) and they gave me a quick, wrong diagnostic - telling me I needed a new inducer motor and two pressure switches at a cost of $3200 without testing any of the parts.! I was so happy to get the guy (not mechanic) that (Superior plumbing and heat) sent over- out of my house- after paying $165 for a service call - and wrong expensive diagnostic .

Mead Mechanical and their workers are licensed mechanics that know what they are doing- They were prompt- professional, and most important - trustworthy!! They saved me a lot of money and will most certainly get my return business- if and when I need a new furnace or any other furnace maintenance .


I give Mead Mechanical a 5 star rating - and would encourage anyone who wants professional, trustworthy service to give them a call- You will not be disappointed.

From start to finish, this was a very positive experience and I will always call Paul and his team for help with our Furnace and Air Conditioner.

We just recently moved to Brantford and didn't know who to call.  We turned on our furnace and immediately realized we were experiencing problems and saw that the last service was back in 2014. 

My boys and I googled and found Mead Mechanic…

I was skeptical as to who we had come into our home as I didn't want to find a pushy sales person.  I was worried that someone was going to try to sell everything under the sun. If I was told I had to get a new furnace I wouldn't know any different.

When I looked on the Mead website I was drawn to the fact that they are a family business and I wanted to believe what the website said about the team being professional, friendly and comes to you with customer service at heart.

I didn't have to just hope - customer service is at the heart of their business and I am very thankful..  

Paul was professional and clearly explained everything to us. His team changed our filter, unplugged a clogged pipe, serviced our furnace and made some great recommendation for things we can do to help with the longevity of our furnace. 

Paul and his crew was helpful, polite, approachable very ethical, down to earth, genuine and professional. 

I would highly recommend Mead Mechanical to anyone and everyone. 

I am very grateful for their help and honesty.

Thank God for Paul and Terry. They are professionals. Quick, excellent service. They removed and installed a water heater in a very short time. Mead Mechanical also installed my last water heater 8 years ago. Fabulous work!

I called Mead Mechanical for a gas line for my stove and dryer, and talked to Paul directly. He came the same day to do an estimate. I was very happy with the work done. They are very professional, unlike the other local gas company who took a week to get back to me, were late by 3 hrs to do an estimate and then never gave me one. I won't use names but they start with an "F".. services. Don't even think about it, call Mead Mechanical.

Mead installed a new furnace and air conditioner for us approx 8 years ago. Over that time, we've had afew small problems with the furnace that Mead dealt with. However, within the last two years, our furnace is not working properly, blowing out cool air when on heat setting. I've tried numerous times, unsuccessfully to reach Paul. He is refusing to return my calls. The furnace is still under warranty, and he refuses to honor that. We just came through a deep cold snap weather wise, and Paul was perfectly ok to leave us without heat!!! His crew came out, inspected the furnace, stated what needed to be done, and then left. I have heard nothing from them. Unprofessional!!

Mead mechanical are great to deal with. They installed our gas fireplace and it looks great. We had a problem with the remote. They came back a few times no questions asked until they solved the problem (which was not that straight forward) because it was a new model. I wish all companies stood behind their products and service like Mead does.

I used Mead Mechanical services to remove, clean and reinstall my A/C unit a few years ago. Doing more rear work, so need it done again. Paul and team are fantastic and remember where I live! Their response time and work are second to none. I look forward to working with them again!

Just had a tech out to fix a leak on a fireplace gas line. Wasn't an emergency repair but they still showed up the next business day and even offered to come out day of. The tech had to work under a half story deck with patio furniture stored in the way, he didn't make a single complaint. The price was more than fair. Will definitely use Mead Mechanical again in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

Just had Mead Mechanical install a new A/C unit in one of my apartments buildings, great service, value pricing and most importantly, work area was all with all debris and old unit taken away. I highly recommend Paul and his team.

Mead mechanical have done a complete system for my biggest investment. My HOME. FURNACE , AC,HRV,FIREPLACE, AIR FILTER SYSTEM. I wouldn't trust just anybody for my comfort and safety

Paul mead and the crew came over same day. My AC blew up in this hot summer. They installed a new and ultra quite unit which now i can sleep because the unit is literally other side of my headboard of my bed. They sell high end system which you can depend on. So if you looking for a honest HVAC contractor. I highly recommend MEADMECHANICAL
