December 2017 Edition
Even if there WAS six feet of snow on the ground, it would be very hard to believe that we have arrived at the last month of the year. It’s been a busy one and with snowless roads, many cyclists are taking advantage of the fact and piling extra bonus mileage onto their yearly tally. Strava numbers should look impressive for many of you this year.
Having said that, we assume that indoor trainers will eventually have to be put into use. We have a good selection of them if you still don’t have one yet. For those of you who are running a regular street tire on your trainer bike, we have plenty of indoor trainer tires in stock. They reduce friction and last for ages.
Christmas is about children and we have all kinds of kids bikes waiting to be parked under the tree. We carry bikes with 12”, 16”, 20”, and 24” wheels as well as a whole slew of bmx bikes. (don’t forget that new bike park). Scooters are always a big item on Christmas lists and we have them in stock. Don’t have anywhere to hide it? Park it here until you’re ready to bring it home.
We’ve seen an increase in the popularity of lights as Christmas gifts. Keep the commuter in the family safe. Another idea? How about a new helmet? We have an entire wall of helmets to choose from.
On the subject of accessories, cycle computers, bells, pumps, water bottles and locks are all good gifts. Do it yourself types will always appreciate bicycle tools. We have plenty of small gifts to choose from.
Still haven’t decided what to buy? Gift cards always fit and are the right color. Our cards allow you to choose any denomination you’d like.
Thinking of buying a bike for yourself? We offer financing. To apply, head to www.brantfordcyclepath.ca
