I am sending out a great big THANK YOU for all your support in the past year. I marked my first full year as the owner of ShopBrantford.com in June, and I'm looking forward to so many more to come. I feel so blessed to have met all of you and to be welcomed into the Brantford business community with open arms. As I mark a year in business I am launching a ShopBrantford.com quarterly newsletter to keep you informed about promotions, campaigns and the growth of Brantford's shop local search engine. There are a few important updates to be aware of this season, with more feature updates and reminders on the way.
We are about to launch a summer campaign to push the use of our coupon section on ShopBrantford.com, so now is the time to make sure you have at least one coupon posted through your profile! The campaign will feature a number of social media posts directed at local consumers in Brant County. Coupons don't need to be specific to ShopBrantford.com, you can use what you've already posted in the AdSaver, a local newspaper or on your own social media channels. This could be anything from a Free Consultation, to $5 off a $40 purchase (or something like that).
Are you in a Bronze, Silver or Gold managed package? Skip the hassle and send your coupon information to Jaime instead. A reminder that her email is jking@shopcity.com.
Brantwood Community Services is searching for local businesses interested in hosting a Work-Abilities student for Disability Mentorship Day on October 26th, 2016. The Mentorship Day gives Work-Abilities participants the chance to gain some real-world experience on the job and to make connections in the business community. Work-Abilities is a Brantwood Community Services skill-development and pre-employment program for adults with developmental disabilities.
