AN EXTRA NEWSLETTER FOR NOVEMBER!
Mid November Edition 2017
We’re quickly finding ourselves facing that time of year wherein most people’s cycling activity heads towards some degree of hibernation. Some people take their riding indoors while others continue to stay outside. We’ve got items that will allow you to do both.
We’ve expanded our selection of indoor trainers to include not only the standard magnetic and fluid trainers, but have decided to stock some smart trainers as well. Smart trainers will allow you to go beyond basic Strava uploads and will introduce you to the world of riding virtually with others, using programs such as the popular Zwift. Imagine riding on a track under the ocean, with fish all around you. Now you can. It’s videogaming meets cycling.
If you’ve had that nagging feeling that your positioning on the bike this year wasn’t all it could be, maybe it’s time to consider having a professional fitting done. We have a certified Specialized Body Geometry Retul fitter on staff. Using state of the art equipment he can optimize your positioning on the bike by discovering your physical limitations and adjusting the bike to address those limitations. You’ll gain comfort and efficiency in the process.
If staring at a rec room wall isn’t your idea of a good time, you can use a fatbike to keep rolling through all of the wintry weather that Mother Nature tosses our way, and have a blast in the process. We carry 4” and 5” wide fatbikes from Specialized, Damco, and Cannondale as well as custom orders from Surly. We also have a great selection of the newer “plus” sized bikes with their 3” wide tires. Also in stock is a full selection of winter riding apparel to keep you going when temperatures take a dip. Thermal tights, jerseys, gloves and head and foot gear.
Christmas means bikes, especially for kids. We have a great selection of childrens bikes and bmx bikes to choose from. Take advantage of our layaway program and keep the bike hidden here right up until Christmas Eve! Don’t forget to pick it up before 4 pm though....
