WIN A BIKE THIS SPRING!
Volume 3, April 2017
If you take a look outside you’ll notice that spring is finally here. However, the temperatures can sometimes be taken with a grain of salt. Either way, the calendar says that it is now officially spring. At the shop? It’s officially GO time. All of us are busy. Overnight it seems that there isn’t enough time in a day. Not to worry though. We love it this way.
For those of you who are the unsung heroes of the early morning rise, whether it be for training or commuting, you’ll be happy to know that we still have a good selection of clothing for those cooler temperatures. We have both full tights or knee warmers, as well as arm warmers. There are plenty of microfleeced beanies. Need a new jacket? We have some lightweight shells that pack well.
Adequate lighting is important when riding in the early hours. We carry more kinds of head and tail lights than ever before and across all price points. Many of our lights are able to be used during daylight hours for extra visibility.
Speaking of electronics, we have now expanded our range of in-stock Garmin offerings. If you’re looking for a model that we don’t have, we’ll be happy to order it for you.
Need a spring tuneup? Bring your bike in for an assessment. Tuneups start at $39.95 and in most cases we’ll get your bike back to you within three business days.
I’m going to put a little twist on this month’s Bike Of The Month selection. What you’re looking at above is a 2017 GT Wise Signature Team Edition bmx bike. This bike is awesome. It has an all 4130 cromoly frame and fork. The rear wheel has a much sought after freecoaster hub, allowing the rider to roll backwards without pedaling. Those hubs aren’t cheap. The paint on this is really cool. It’s a raw finish, meaning that you can see the burn marks from the welding, and satin blue has been camo’d over that. The price? It doesn’t matter because.....we’re raffling it off !! We’re really looking forward to the completion of the new Waterworks Bike Park and decided to help speed it along by donating all of the proceeds from the ticket sales to the cause. Tickets are printed and are now available here at the shop. (Brantford Cyclepath. 225 Fairview Drive, here in Brantford) You can pick up a ticket for only $5, or you can have five tickets for $20.
