FABULOUSLY F.I.T. FEBRUARY!
Volume #1 February 2017
As we slip and slide our way into February, the will to maintain those New Years Eve fitness resolutions might be beginning to wane. Skies are grey, lower temperatures make cocooning in front of the television a tempting option, and the motivation to get outside may be difficult to find. That’s perfectly okay! We’re here to help you stay on track in February!
Body Geometry FIT Night.
This is an invitation! Please come to our FIT Night. A proper fit is critical for any and every level of cyclist. Body Geometry FIT is the most comprehensive fit system available, regardless of the rider experience level, or bicycle brand. It goes beyond the basics offered by other fitting methods. Here at Brantford Cyclepath, we also use Retul technology, which encompasses a complete three dimensional fitting process using our new, state of the art motion 3-D motion capture system. Please attend our free FIT Night and enjoy a detailed presentation covering the Body Geometry FIT process and the ways that it can be of benefit to you, along with our recent incorporation of Retul Fit Technology. The event will be held at the shop on Monday, February 13th
at 7pm SHARP. RSVP! Please call the shop at 519-751-2825 or send us an email at email@example.com to reserve your seat. Our first one was extremely popular, space is limited. Don’t delay!
February is Maintenance Month!
Does the thought of tuning up your bike leave you feeling drained? Not to worry. Our mechanics are ready and willing to sort everything out for you. Why not beat the rush and bring your bike in to us in February? Have you seen our “winter” weather lately? You could be getting a serious jump on the 2017 season. Did you notice the coupons that we’re pairing with this newsletter? Not only are we offering 10% off of labour for the month, we’re also offering 10% off of all in-stock repair parts and tires! It’s for February only, so take advantage of it while you can.
To cap this newsletter off, how about showing you what we’ll call a “feature” bike. Hopefully you read our shop blog on a regular basis ( https://brantfordcyclepath.wordpress.com
) . If you do, you’ll know that last month’s blog entry covered the newest mountain bike, the 27.5+ or 650B+. The Specialized Fuse series is what the big S calls 6Fatty. These trail bikes have 3” wide tires on wider 27.5” rims to give extra traction and float in extremely technical or loose conditions. Many cyclists refer to them as a “Fatbike lite” due to the fact that they are still quite capable during the snowy months of the year. These bikes use very wide gear ratios just like their fully fat cousins, but offer a more nimble ride than the larger bikes. The use of suspension forks really smooths out the rough stuff. The Fuse is available in six different models. Of course, there is a matching bike for women called the Ruse.
